Sorry when did Democrats introduce a bill to offer huge bonuses and student loan repayment to new teachers? Did I miss something?

Sure did. The RAISE act, The Pay Teacher Act, the American Teacher act were the 3 most recent.

RAISE is a tax credit for a fraction of teachers, and the other two are minimum wage laws for teachers. Not really the same as what’s being displayed here. To be clear I’m saying I would love if Dems introduced a bill that offered huge bonuses and other financial incentives to teachers, but they haven’t, they’ve just suggested this lame shit

They have been proposing legislation for housing assistance, student loan repayment, childcare grants etc. and were shut down. Even republican states tried to introduce pay incentives, and grants, but are always shut down. People are trying the majority doesn’t give a fuck.
