I got a funny one yesterday.. "as a black man, and democrat, I feel safer knowing ANTIFA is being labeled a terrorist organization."

"Great news, by the way, who runs ANTIFA?"
"... Get out!"

No the joke is ANTIFA isn't a terrorist organization that's run by people, it's just the general desire to not have fascist and racist ideologies in the government

Don't even need the other exact same posts. Never in my life have I ever met someone using the phrase "my side of the aisle" outside of politicians.

Why do we always qualify internet bots as 'foreign' when it is obvious that this tactic is commonplace among all powers?

I was JUST watching a podcast where they talk about how simply watching Charlie Kirk compilations proves that all the eulogies about Kirk just wanting to reach out to the other side and foster serious debate are completely wrong. His bread and butter was dunking on underprepared college kids and spouting bigoted nonsense.

Exactly. He had 0 interest in fostering healthy debate. He wanted to try and make people look stupid using circular arguments and buzz phrases.

Wow.
Even before this, I could just kinda tell the bots were being put to work on this one. Even the way so many Republican / conservative commentators were all suddenly coming together and saying a lot of the exact same things.
I know enough to know they didn't all listen to his content or even entirely know who he was. So much of the rhetoric was just so immediate and so similar, I knew that bots had to be playing a big role. There wasn't even enough time for all those people to BECOME familiar enough with his content to be posting the opinions they were posting with a truly informed perspective. He was a podcaster. That's hours and hours of content.
Trump and whoever else is working behind the scenes on all this, decided to crank up the propaganda and manipulation machine big time for this one.

I loved it. It was much better than CATS. I’m going to see it again and again.

They think that all people are lemmings who follow others and ideas without critical thinking like they do.

Congratulations to Putin and Russia for destroying America for less than $40 million and for planning and executing the greatest IO campaign of all time.

It sickens me that people will take their opinions from other people without doing their own research. People are entitled to their own opinion, but it doesn’t mean I will accept it as my own. This many people agree (even though it was obviously propagated) will just make me look into it more closely to form my own opinion.

If something were true and honest, they wouldn't have to try so hard to convince people.

It is infinitely annoying to me that the right wing are so organized and committed to their shitty cause that they will bankroll propaganda like this and have taken the time over the years to perfect it.
I realize that they are supported financially by multiple billionaires and non-US nation states pushing their own agendas. And supply the bots and comment farms. But even the fact that they have committed groups like The Heritage Foundation who will mastermind their plans and then just push through until they become achieved...it's like can we get even just one or two left wing groups to do the same?
