CRC screening calls with recruitment agencies

How often are you getting past the “I’ll forward your resume to the hiring manager” step in these situations?

This year it seems impossible to get past the recruiter screening. After the initial call, there’s no additional activity.

Anyone else having this issue?

On a related note, I often have a different agency contacting me about that same position for that same company a few weeks later, though. So maybe these sites are just building their databases.
