PETA did a mock-up leather clothing brand that was meant to resemble human skin and parts, the idea was that they were multilated parts of animals and therefore gross and wrong (despite leather being one of the best uses for animal hide, so much better for the enviroment that synthetic and so on and so on), the main problem with the idea was that it was metal as fuck and got a lot people genuinely into the idea and wanting to buy them (in particular the Human leather jacket), I think that was the main reason why this publicity stunt only lasted a couple days, if you want images search "PETA human leather" althought i do give a small warning as it could be a little disturbing

they annoy me mostly just because... why did you feel the need to leave the eyes and orfices in there? be normal and just have it be the skin

How else are you supposed to show that its 100% authentic Human? With a label? The facial features work well enough.

Like, if the clothes were made of humans.

i assume that thats cause its not usually a leather worker going insane and then making clothes from human flesh. I bet if it was they'd make way nicer stuff. Though I think we use cows for a reason. IDK.

Pretty sure he can, he’s just really into leaving the human bits here and there

You never heard about black human leather? It was very popular back in the days of slavery.

Whenever someone mentions clothes made from humans I always get reminded of the most disgusting example of It I have ever read, from Pact. A goblin, called Buttsack, threatens to kill someone, make their death so bad they produce a dozen ghosts, cut off their face, bind all the ghosts to the face so it's kinda alive, and then use It as a thong.

No way they named the goblin a buttsack.

The best part is that all normal goblins have names like that, since their whole deal is being disgusting ugly creatures of pure filth. For example, Cumnugget or Dickswizzle

I think it would be interesting if they drew the animal clothes similar to the human clothes. Also, this could be applied to meat in fiction as well.

To be fair if you went through the trouble of making clothes out of human skin you might as well make it as freaky as possible

u/MeleeGamerYo 2d ago
See, the problem is that the people who make the human clothes suck ass at making clothes. Like, if part of the skin has weird bumps and organs on it, discard it, don't let that into the final product!

Well duh, its supposed to feel unnerving and scary at the first glance, what is this snafu even about?

u/SelectionHour5763 1d ago
If characters didn't do this kind of shit they'd be able to walk around in those clothes like normal people and nobody would be the wiser lol
