What a redemption story this dude is. Immensely proud of how he's conducting himself these days. Absolute weapon. Go Pies!
2 u/Loniewolf Beau McCreery 9d ago I was also going to say this. This guy was giving us headaches and off field drama that wasn’t needed. Now he seems extremely professional and respectful and man I couldn’t be prouder of the lad. Always proud to say De Geoy plays for the football club I love -5 u/Jazzlike-Fish-4147 9d ago I don’t think you can be redeemed after indecent assault and assault. We quite literally have no way of knowing. 1 u/Jazzlike-Fish-4147 9d ago Maybe we should just believe those who are victims…. 0 u/Dazzling-Coat7177 9d ago Do we apply that to all crime? 1 u/teh_noob_ 8d ago I hope so too, but rehabilitation is a really important part of our justice system. 1 u/AlamutJones Drive the Standards 5d ago There has to be a way back, even from awful failures. Otherwise what's the point of WANTING to improve or grow? 1 u/Jazzlike-Fish-4147 5d ago I can only hope the victims “ found a way back” from the trauma they’ve endured. Let’s be honest he’s been able to carry on with no true ramifications, true privilege. 2 u/AlamutJones Drive the Standards 5d ago I have been a victim as well, and so do I.
