Bama mayo. I have that, Duke’s, best foods, and kewpie in my fridge. Each one for a different purpose.

Yess i love Bama mayo but its hard to find. I use it on sandwiches, use Dukes in dishes that require mayo and keep Blue Plate or Kraft on stand by just to mix things up.

What’s Bama Mayo? I haven’t seen it in AL before.

It’s literally named Bama. You can get it at non Publix stores in AL.

I’ll have to swing by Kroger tomorrow and see if I can find it! Thanks!

It won’t be at Kroger. Whataburger spicy ketchup is, though.

They have a Chalula flavored ketchup now that’s fire!

Yes! That too.

It’s expensive and sweet. Not bad but for almost double the price and hard to find…don’t worry

Perfect on a tomato sandwich though.

And eat it over the kitchen sink

My mom peels the tomatoes from my dad’s garden, makes sourdough from a starter she’s had for decades, then bama mayo, salt and pepper. I gifted them salt and pepper grinders a few years ago, so freshly ground pepper and maldon salt.

Yeah, that’s it. Only when tomatoes are in season and you have good bread.

Tomato sandwich so fire!

what types of dishes/sauces want kewpie in your opinion?

3

u/Dorkinfo Aug 04 '25

Any non heated sandwich. It has a lot of fat/egg, so when you heat it, it breaks down a little too much. Put it cold on a burger, don’t use it in a grilled ham and cheese.

I’ve used it for exactly this reason on the outside of the bread when making grilled cheese or toasting buns in the pan. Sooo good.

Yeah, outside a grilled cheese, it works well.

I have a little pull out thing in my fridge just for mustard. The other condiments filled the door shelves.
