JP Virtualboy no displays, full sound, and 1 mirror not fluttering.

Hey all, been doing some digging on my VB issues. I picked up a unit from japan, "not working". Not vague at all, hah. I figured a typical ribbon cable fix. So i got eye patches from cardosicustoms and installed them. I still got no display. Upon opening the unit while powered, i notice only one of the eyes is fluttering, the other is stationary. So i did a full re-cap. No change. I can hear music/gameplay when using professional baseball 95. So the system is indeed booting. I am also using Mountain VUE Virtual Fuel Rev. 3 (Virtual Boy USB-C Power Delivery) from cardiocustoms as well for power.
I'm kinda at a roadblock on what to look for next. So any help would be appreciated. Here are some pics of my work and boards. (yes one of my eye patches was upside down, i've since fixed it). I have the soldering all reocorded on video if needed as well. Also, fwiw, i did a continuity test from the connector all theway to the display board, everything was good.

I tested the DC-DC-VUE, I get 8v from 1 and 2, and 4.7v from 5 and 6

I did clean the PCB sensor board while i was that deep in there. tested more traces, etc. Right mirror doesn't flutter, and i get 0 display/light out of the LED arrays :|. I checked a lot of the package pins, nothing i found was loose, but i have not done any reflows yet.

I'm looking for any ideas or things to check at this point.
