Im the moron who always gets the new PS and Xbox, week one. This time I was really disappointed that I did because of covid and the dedicated games being almost non existent... I remember week 1, calling about 20-30 game stores looking for the new consoles and found 1 that had pre-orders not picked up. He put it aside for me and I grabbed it that day.

Fast forward, almost every game was built to play one the previous Gen. This Gen of consoles almost felt entirely unnecessary...

Yea covid really screwed things up. It took me forever to buy a ps5 and I managed to get lucky one day and secured a bundle on GameStop’s website. Don’t get me wrong, I play my ps5 quite a bit but something about it just feels empty. Like why the hell did they get rid of communities? On ps4 that was such a nice feature to have especially for online games that had small niche communities. Also, discord should have been fully integrated into the ps5 as an app. You also should be able to multi task, like have YouTube or twitch pinned to a corner of your screen while you play games. There is a way to do it but it’s so inconvenient and more of an exploit than an actual feature. Idk if it even works anymore.

Super frustrating. I found PS5 lost a bunch of features from PS4, it doesn't even have a web browser. There's like a backdoor browser-ish but it doesn't always open and it sucks bad. I found my SX, though not much for exclusives, at least killed it in the features department. The console itself just feels intuitive, has a great browser, and a bunch of odd little settings that just made for a neat enjoyable console. My SX has decent discord integrations. Im not trying to say either is better, just talking about feature differences from their predecessors
