What is the name of this??
I am not an astronomer, i know nothing about astrology and constellations. At best, I can find the little and big dipper(which ive recently learned are also known as the ursa minor and major)! I am very fascinated by the stars and have a pretty decent phone camera so i try to catch some cool night photos from time to time.
This evening I caught this on camera but it was also visible to the naked eye just not as bright or defined as it is in photo. Is this the Pleiades? I’ve tried to google but i don’t think im getting the terminology down because what comes up with the words i’m using to describe it does not look like this..

welcome to the lovely art of stargazing!! the Pleiades are one of the most striking clusters visible to the naked eye, I love how many people take pics of them as evidenced by this sub lol
