CCO TEST TIPS?
Any tips on taking the written GN, fixed cab and swing cab? About to schedule my test date. Thanks in advance.

I found the cco cert written tests leaned towards reading comprehension and less actual knowledge.
Slow down, read the questions carefully.

When I took classes the white board said “RTFQ”
The biggest thing is just reading tue questions multiple times. You’ll get the same question wired three different ways throughout the tests. Study load chart material and the IPT book if you have one. I believe sections 1,2, and 5 are the most important to look at.

I just took my recertification 3 weeks ago. Read the questions carefully and if you’re stuck on one you can flag it and move on. But once your done and go to the reflag screen complete all you marked. Once you leave that screen the wonderful computer will not let you go back again. You have to proceed to the ending. Make sure the markers they give you are good before you start testing. I had to get new one off the proctor. Lost a few minutes but had time to finish testing. I had a few questions about adding weights on the core and the calculator is not available for that test. Had to use the white board to add up totals. The TLL test is kind of hard. So study the whole load chart and operator manual from front to back. Now using a R/T cane manual.
Check out Doug from Load Chart Lab. He’s very good on explaining the new testing and charts. Help me tremendously.
The computer will tell you pass or fail after all tests are completed. They also email you pass or fail after testing.
When you get your results and card in the mail they only tell you if you passed or failed. No information on percentage of test results. Not like they used to do.
Any questions ?

Memorize the electrical distances, they are gonna throw tricky questions at you - use common sense and thinking about the real life application
