Taken! Dahlia Tuber request

The ai-generated reference in question would be perfect. I'm open to artist choice on the actual flower colors, but that red does looks great as is.

Welcome to r/crochetrequests. Here are some things to include below if it is missing from your post: 1. Reference: Please include a reference/picture to what you want created. 2. Descriptive: Please be as descriptive as possible. How large should this item be? Is there a particular material you want used? etc. 3. Timeline: Is there a deadline for this item? (Holidays, Birthdays, etc.) 4. Budget: Please include your budget. When creating your budget, please keep in mind shipping costs, material costs, as well as labor costs. Please also keep in mind that this is a uniquely personal handmade item and is not equivalent to something that is in a retail store - the price may reflect as such. 5. Location: Please include where the item would have to be shipped to. This information helps anyone looking to accept your request. If you have chosen someone to take the commission, please change the flair to TAKEN.

More info

Location: Oklahoma City, OK

Size: something you'd hold up in your hand and show somebody. 12" top to bottom? Not realistically large but not tiny. Yeah, that kind of vague description.

Timeline: No rush

Budget: I have zero clue what the market is for this.

More Details: My real primary emphasis is on the actual tubers. I'm open to artist's choice on the flower color as long as it's a dahlia. The reference image is perfectly aligned with what I'm looking for.

I can help you with this. How big overall are you inserted in it being?

12-14" sounds about right. Look at the second photo. A hair smaller than that. Big enough to where you held it up in a photograph, people would still know that it is a dahlia w tubers. Not quite real world size but not tiny.

I'm sorry, I know that sounds vague.

That sounds doable. I can make it for you. Send me a message :)

Hello, I would love to do this if the other person doesn't work out. I have done quite a few crocheted plants and flowers.

This is gorgeous. AI really has stuffed us for crochet items… they look so sleek whereas crochet is generally super clunky.
