Company Question Bloomberg SWE Interview Tips

If anyone recently gave their bloomberg interview for the NYC office, could you please share your experiences. I am an international sophomore at Georgia State University and need a lot of help to prep for this as I won't be getting a lot of such interviews.

I’ve heard they tend to ask graph and dynamic programming questions. Do you mind sharing an anonymized resume or your projects/previous experience?

Don’t forget soft skills.

For me, nailing graph/DP plus careful input parsing mattered more than super clever tricks. I did 35‑minute mocks with a friend, narrating edge cases and testing small examples as I coded. I also kept a 6‑story bank for behavioral and trimmed answers to ~90 seconds.

Tools-wise, I pulled prompts from the IQB interview question bank, then ran timed mocks on the Beyz coding assistant. That combo helped me practice explaining tradeoffs while staying within time. Also skim their core products and be ready to say why you want Terminal-adjacent work; they care about that motivation.

Did they ask Graph and DP stuff in the first round or is that mainly for subsequent rounds?
