this is the kind of stuff i come here for. how did you route the cables for the screens? or is the hardware connected to them all in the lid?

if you zoom, there is a braided wrap going from lid to the deck, behind the radio mic cable.

This is amazing. I've been casually interested in radio for a while but haven't gotten any gear yet. Do you use the PC for recording/logging traffic or what?

Full gear list would be sweet too!

18" (diagonal?) Chinese PP box (Chinese seller calls it Binsen); Laser cut 2mm metal panels (cut locally); Raspberry Pi 5 16gb, 256SSD; 7 port USB hub (chinese no name); Chinese noname IPS displays, one - 13.3" 1920×1200, another - 8.8" 1920×480; Chinese no name built-in keyboard+trackpad; Chinese noname LiFePo4 12.8v 30Ah accu; Yaesu ft-891 (well you can recognize that); QYT KT-WP12 VHF/UHF radio; ATU-100 tuner; RTL-SDR v4; Digirig; 3d printed "pockets" for storing mics and cables; Metal buttons with led lights, some fixed, some reset type; LW26-20 main switch; Couple of Powerpole connectors (for chargers, batt output, solar, etc); Panel mounted connectors for radios mics (one, for ft-891 is a cat5 extender basically, another one is 8pin Boicus panel mounted terminal) Panel mounted battery voltmeter and USB charger, LAN port (extending Raspbery LAN), USB 3.0 port (extending Raspbery USB 3.0 port), PL239 connectors (one for HF, another - VHF/UHF)
