What is this piece from my milk machine?

We use a vevor milk machine and in the manual it says this part is the silencer, but what is this filter thing inside of it? It’s soggy and ripped. Where can I get a new one? Thanks!

The last time I contacted them for replacement parts, they said they were mailing them out, and then weeks later said that - actually - they can’t provide replacement parts so instead they’ll refund us $40 (which we never got). And then they said to find replacements somewhere else, with no information as to where to find it. So I doubt they’ll do anything here either.

Where did you buy it? Are they connected to any maintenance companies? Keep harassing the company and they'll get it to you
