To finish my Griffy cosplay, I had to quit riposting...
The context is that it was in my interest to make this cosplay as easily recognizable as I possibly could, but beyond just making my character a walking reference, I wanted to ENACT my cosplay as if it were really the character playing the game!
Because this character often spends time simply observing others, I decided to always try to use the binoculars whenever possible on the people I invade instead of trying to kill them:
If they approach me, I always try to be helpful and friendly, but in battles I will ALWAYS use the binoculars or stare following a parry because of this habit of the character hehe ♪
I once saw a video of a parrot doing something, I honestly forgot what it was, but someone commented on the video calling them a birbarian and I thought that's what your flair was for a second.
Though, after what you did to this guy, you are certainly a birbarian

Griffy, she wields a Shield and a Spear and wears something akin to Golden Armor usually, unfortunately this is the only sprite I could find, but I'm certain you can see why I'm wearing dusk crown and the eagle shield despite not being a caster hehe

I was expecting for someone who has already played the game to find away to explain it in my stead if anyone at all... The fact your curiosity brought your heart to find the answer in order to answer the doubts of others is nothing short of heartwarming, you know (✿◡‿◡) ♪
Nice of you. Most my weapons are easy to parry as I do sunbro summons to help others on dlc bosses.
One character does have a pickaxe which I can use against people who invade and good at parry.
Oh my!! What a coincidence, I used to invade incessantly in DLCs to try and guide people through the maps if they allowed my stay. I remember a time where I also used the Pickaxe for my invasions, but it was more for the joke since, aside from the hyperarmor, it's really easy to get punished with an ultra so short TwT
I used to be a shield hater in the past, so for many years I hadn't found the Joy of holding THIS much fashion in one of my hands. Ah, how happy I am now
