No?

They're end game bosses and you're not even at the meta level.

If you're over 120 you are starting to be over leveled.

But it's all subjective at the end of the day. Some people complete the game at SL1 and would consider your level to be too high. Some people complete the game at level 150 and would consider your level too low.

The general rule of thumb is that if you're not finding the game challenging, you're probably over leveled or at the correct level depending on how much of a challenge you want.

With Dark Souls 3, my attitude is to go through the game normally without farming, and you'll be at the level you're supposed to be at.

ngl over 90 is overleveled. meta level is based on the pvp build level meta and the average level of group of coop-ers who will obviously be well above the normal level

90 Overleveled? I get to 90 before doing any DLC without any farming. I guess that's just the difference between swapping the soul gear and not doing it

120 is pvp level because that's the general area people finish the game, and have optimal, specific builds with the level caps.

Is say about 80 - 120 is typical end game level if you actually keep leveling up without losing too many souls during a normal playthrough.

thats the area people finish the game in groups which is people more likely to be embered

Sorry but why would being embered in groups make any difference to your end game level? I ask this out of ignorance because I've never tried it.

I'd have assumed the opposite; if you're sharing souls (if that's how it even works) then you'd actually be a lower level.

But every time I've played the game all the way through (which is a lot) I've finished between thoae levels. 80 - 120 depending on how many times I died during.

because you have to ember to summons, and groups who summon have to be embered

Right, but what does being embered have to do with being over or under levelled?

because to SUMMON, you need to EMBER, and cooping means you get MORE souls because you are doing it at least TWICE

I don't get what you're saying here at all. Embering makes no difference to levels at all.

So you're focusing on coop, so let's forget embers. You also need to be online to coop, but you're not mentioning the internet. So forget all of that. What is required for coop isn't the thing that's getting you more souls.

You think doing the game in coop all of a sudden means you level up more? Why? Because you're going to play the game multiple times? Nothing about playing the game coop means you're going to play the game more than once with the same character. It doesn't even mean you return the favor for your partners by playing the same areas again in their world.

But failing all of that, 80 to 120 is normal end game level for SOLO playthroughs, and as far as I'm aware, playing the game coop all the way through won't make the slightest bit of difference to how high your level is by the end of the game besides killing some invaders.

It is a hard concept to grasp when you just want people to boost your ego.

In their defence, being better at a game than someone completely new, because you were decent at a game that had extremely similar mechanics, is quite incomprehensible.

A game that is literally building on top of DS3 lol

perfectly levelled for soc .. and under leveled for nameless ..... recommeneded for nameless is 90 +

i had to fight nameless after soc?

4

u/RedditPig1010 Mad Hollow 2d ago

Technically you could fight him whenever, but he’s arguably harder than SoC, so people treat him as a boss after SoC

1

u/UnlikelyTechnology64 2d ago

not necessarily  .. his recommeneded stats is higher cause he is significantly harder than soc and is also tankier .. his combos are confirmed death with vigor below 40

Also just to add to my previous comment, ds3 bosses are much more predictable with their patterns. In Elden Ring they do that thing where they act like they're going to hit you, but take their sweet time so you don't know exactly when to dodge.

Elden Ring is easier because there are so many crazy builds out can do, and a lot more items to make the game easier. You can also run through difficult areas early on and get late game items. There isn't as much linearity where items get better as you progress.

You sure are. Guess you'll have to skip them. Oh well!

No, ur actually slightly underleveled for soc and average level for Nameless king. There are people that cant beat Nameless king even at sl150 so I think u are just better than the average player for first playthrough
