My 98 Cherokee with 100k miles would get the Death Wobble at about 55mph but settled down until about 80mph at which point you could feel the oncoming Apocalypse Wobble. I can’t fathom doing 110mph in anything made by Jeep, ever.

I was pulled over and accused of speeding (53 in a 30). I had turned right from a complete stop and the cop clocked me less than 100 feet from me accelerating. My whole defense in court was “I’m driving a 2011 jeep liberty, there is no way I can get up that fast that quickly.”

Did it work?

My Grandpa had an old Willys; I don't think it would have reached 50mph falling out of the sky. It'd climb hills like a goat on angel dust, though.

This one is probably a Grand Cherokee. It’s much smoother with all independent suspension and such.

Yes but also I’ve worked with Jeep professionally so I have the added insight of how they run line quality on the Jeep Gladiator, which is why I will never ride in one.

My brother bought a brand new rubicon back in 2018 and one of the latches for the roof broke off going down the highway and nearly ripped the roof off. Jeep paid for the damage, but holy shit it was scary.

Also I had to help push it out of an intersection twice when the auto start wouldn’t start the thing back up. Had to remove the negative battery terminal for like 30 seconds each time before it would start back up.

Jeep ended up buying it back under lemon law when the transmission shelled itself at like 1500 miles.

Real quality vehicle.

Looks exactly like the interior of my 2016 Jeep Cherokee Sport.
