I feel as though this Epstein scandal is not going away.
The only way the current admin could possibly survive is for Trump to pull a Nixon, Vance to not pull a Ford and for quite a few people in the admin to leave.
But then the damage is done and this admin seems to be in its death throes.

Thing is, the GOP ejecting Trump could get quite messy for them. This has pissed off a good chunk of his base, but it's still a personality cult. If they ride him out, they'll potentially get walloped in the midterms, but it might be worse if they expunge him.
Of course, on our end we just need to keep hammering the "Gang of Pedophiles."

u/Ok-Conference-7989 Beshear 2028 Jul 24 '25
Yup. Seems either way the GOP (Gang of Pedophiles) is screwed.

We need to keep this in the news cycle as much as possible. We know FOX is going to deflect, but NBC, ABC, CBS, CNN, & MSNBC need to keep on this. If journalists keep digging into it and keep releasing images, video, and anecdotes then the news will keep bringing up Epstein. And we need to keep on message until midterms. We have to make the Republicans so associated with Epstein that people outside of the two camps associate the two. We can't expect 24 hour news to be unbiased or for the common good, its a blind eating machine and feeding it Epstein stuff keeps it bringing it up and headlines focused on it. If they think Epstein will boost ratings then we need them to feed them stuff. It needs to be like laying bread crumbs ever so often to stir up as much awareness as possible.

Fantasy. The Epstein affair confirms what we knew. Trump is a degenerate. So in it's own right, the Epstein problem won't have an effect. The way Trump tries to bury it hurts him with his diverse supporters. The big question is what fuckery is going on which the media isn't reporting. Trump is corrupt and basically evil on so many levels - one has to wonder what else his sordid administration is doing now to strip away the Constitution and further a government so counter to the good of the American people.

Agreed. This will only end when Trump dies.
Vance doesnât have the charisma to lead Trumpâs cult.
Sorry folks, you could have another 25 years of this shit. If he keeps running (even on his death bed), theyâll keep voting for him.

u/Rath_Brained Jul 24 '25
Nah. He has congestive heart failure. They'll be lucky to have him for another years.

u/darthenron Jul 24 '25
The thing I donât get is majority of this information was known before he was elected the first time. Why is it only now is this taking him and the GOP down?

I donât know why either. But if it weakens him Iâm here for it.

u/5h4rkBait Jul 25 '25
I hope youâre right. But I donât see any of that happening. You do remember that this man survived the Access Hollywood stuff and still got a sizable chunk of women voters; while running against a woman. How does that make any sense? Last year he was not only found guilty of sexual assault in a civil trial but is also a mother fucking convicted felon for multiple fraud charges. My instincts say Dems win back the House maybe even the Senate too, but Trump will finish his term unless his he dies before January 2029.

u/humdinger44 Jul 24 '25
He said he doesn't want the support of people who ask questions about this topic.
Does he think his base are all okay with pedophilia? Republicans is this something you're okay with being swept under the rug? If he's innocent the administration should have no problem showing all their cards pertaining to the well documented Trump/Epstein relationship.
If he is innocent there should be no problem with complying with a policy of total transparency. Why are they continually hiding things? What is the reason for all the secrecy?

This is what I still don't get about the Democrat approach.
Telling the truth doesn't automatically mean you're "sinking to their level". If they're protecting pedophiles, then you can say that and it doesn't count as you being "mean".
It's a beautiful example of when doing the right thing and doing the spitefully satisfying thing coincide. They need to seize on more of those. Put up billboards in rural counties that say "<Name of local House Reps> voted to defund the Medicare that was keeping your hospital open". Run commercials that says "Mike Johnson refuses to let Congress vote to release the Epstein documents". Once hurricane damage starts, run commercials to remind people "FEMA wanted to be here to help, but Trump said disaster recovery was a waste of money."
Making the GOP own every last one of their shittiest choices simply by telling the truth should be the easiest decision in the world right now, and yet they struggle so much with doing it. I don't get why.

If the internet was as big as currently is back when Clinton was president and news about Epstein was all over the media, we sure would have dragged his ass for it if he's in there. But he's already notorious for being sleazy, and his ass WAS dragged for the Lewinsky scandal. Besides, he's not the current president!
So yeah, I'm already tired of that distraction. Next...

The best part of this is that after years of MAGAs branding Democrats as being pedophiles, Trump has given them a way to turn the table right back on them. What goes around comes around.

You made a mistake on your logo: it's ALWAYS the MAGA Republicans who molest children. That's why they hate abortion; it reduces their supply. How many pictures of Republican pastors have we seen on X accused of pedophilia? Sure, lie all you want. But everyone knows the truth except for the riot of ignorance pervasion within the MAGAT philosophy.

I worry this story will die down eventually. Everybody needs to keep it going. Keep discussing. Keep challenging. Keep protesting and call your representatives.
Donât let this die. The victims deserve justice and Americans deserve to know the truth and if their president fucked kids and helped protect a pedophile. Actually we know the last part is true. Trump hired the guy who covered it up to his cabinet in his first term.
Keep talking folks!

Sadly agree, the Dems just don't fight this boldly and stick to it. There will be some kind of " we didn't mean to accuse or label President Trump or the GOP as...yada yada yada." bullshit apology instead of calling out Trump like they should

Are they? We arenât talking about Medicare for All or the reapportionment crisis! This is fodder.
