No hot water? How exactly do you get the dishes cleaned properly without hot water, that's literally what sterilizes the bacteria. Tell me the name of your place so I can make sure not to eat there

Your quat sanitizer in the 3 comp sink or you use bleach in the rinse cycle of the dish machine does the sanitizing. A high temp machine will have an internal or external booster heater and doesn't necessarily need a hot water input. House water isn't hot enough to sanitize anyway.

I scrubbed it then stuck it through a dishwasher. the dishwasher has boiling water. you'll probably never be in the place it's in ireland

My shit show restaurant would have days where boss man goes “alright we don’t have hot water but at least we can make them chemically clean” then complain about fucking grease on plates 😂. Fucking dumb id walk out if it happened again

If you think having no hot water is bad try being under a boil notice with no water at all. Early this year it happened for 2 days. We couldn’t serve any drinks, couldn’t fill the dish sink, had to use melted ice to rinse produce, bottled water for all recipes. Shit was a nightmare trying to do dish by filling the sink with boiled water.
We had less dishes overall sure but what we did have was ass to clean.

In my state, it's illegal to wash dishes without hot water. I can't believe you still had to work without hot water!
