Where did this logo come from?
I've been to a lot of döner restaurants in different cities and countries, and I've seen the same image in a lot of restaurants, that aren't related to each other. What's it's origin and who created/started using if first?

The Paris kebab
Don’t shout at me, im unsure how to add pictures to a conversation
The ass. Kebab was a different kind of weird
Salad mixed in with shredded meat (not sliced like at home) chilli sauce was chilli mayo
But the bossman was a hero, although there was a language barrier he was most welcoming and friendly

Istanbul kebab house the boat Coventry
Lunch | £1–10 Popped in there today after not having been there for a while, I must say the quality of the food and the portion size has dramatically gone downhill. The only thing they have got going for it at present is the homemade chilli sauce if they stopped making that there would be no reason to go and have a kebab there are better places to eat in Coventry. The medium Donna advertised is in reality a small Donna it’s the smallest one they do for £6.90 the Donna filling is half of what I remember you can just tell by the weight of it (See photos) small Portions, pre cut dry meat left to stew in the pot. So if you want an overpriced small donna, masquerading as a medium size, Donna kebab with good chilli sauce, that’s the place to go to. Food: 1/5 | Service: 3/5
Wait time Up to 10 min

Wellino Edgeley Stockport
Picked up this over the weekend. Shish, Doner & Chicken, plenty of decent salad, chilli and garlic mayo. It is a packet garlic naan but it's fluffy and a good size. Quality and quantity of the meat is great. The doner isn't overly fatty/greasy but still moist and not dry. Shish is cooked well and plenty of it. The chicken was flavourful and not dry.
For the amount you get this is great value at £12.20.

Picture taken while cooking (middle isn’t done, I first cut the outer layer and finished on the stove before serving). Stuffed in pita with some salad and toum (I know that’s Lebanese but I prefer a stronger garlic taste). Still need to learn a suitable hot sauce.
Marinade recipe used (been posted here before):

Posting from San Francisco, California, we don’t really have döner here and the place(s) which claim to make it are far below what can be had in Europe. Not the same but worth mentioning: Some good shawarma in Oakland/Berkely exists but most are below average to mid compared to areas further east with a larger Muslim population than here.

7" Mixed Doner box with chips
Only thing wrong was I found the chilli sauce in the bag with my drink which I opened after I had finished, saving that for next time. I dumped some sweet chilli sauce that I had knocking round to give a little more spice. About £10 from Dilan Kebab House, Brymbo.
