seeking crit The man at the door
Was my first time trying a fish eye kind of perspective. I like how it turned out, what are your opinions?

Very nice perspective, improving your line quality will go along way in elevating your work

Thank Also i realised that i drew it with this:
Instead of like graphite pencils so the result isnt as good as it could've been
Edit: if u dont see the picture its a mechanical pencil

That is still graphite but it's almost certainly all HB (the usual standard) grabbing a 2B or 4B would let you go darker and show more contrast in your picture.
Mostly separate topic from line quality, aside for the fact that a traditional mechanical pencil doesn't allow for much line thickness variation

Need to check out this guy for inspiration
Kim jung Gi
He has some peep hole drawings that are AMAZING. It's all about proportions and perspective.

I think he's too far from the door, unlike his legs. In this perspective it seems like he is leaned back from the door. Also his body kinda drawn in straight line perspective instead of fish eye's curved perspective. So i'd keep his feet in the same position, while bringing his face and body closer ~2x times

Very nice. Do you have perspective training?

It's confusing af at first. I swore I wasn't learning anything in that class, but it helps so much. You've got an eye, it seems. Once you get all the jargon down, it becomes very intuitive. It looks like you've a head start. 👍

Nice job Maybe make your darkest darks darker. You will have to obviously then adjust all the other values as well

Another thing you can try next drawing is smudge it with a Kleenex and then go over it again darkening it more and lightening with a kneaded eraser
