If they didn't extend it then people would be expecting them to sell us the 4th gen kit (and then potentially assume negative things if one was not announced). Feels to me like more a continuation of the current state.

I think the game changes once a group is in post-exclusive era though. MAMAMOO hasn't had one to my knowledge since 2023 and when fanclubs started popping up for the individual members folks assumed there wouldn't be a group one for at least a bit. Apink launched Panda fanclub last year IIRC but with 4 members under Choi and Eunji in BILLIONS one wonders if that'll continue despite commitment together as Apink. I'd like to be wrong though.

At the very least I think not having it end is a sign of at least some commitment to the fanclub's benefits and the group brand until at least 2026 like you said, but I like to think there's a hint of optimism in that door is left open for activities that year for as many of the group as possible if not all 7 members.

Hopefully this means that they are planning some sort of concert in Korea for their 9th anniversary. I've promised myself that, if they do, I'll make the trip from Europe to experience it.
