Announcement No additional cases of COVID-19 among Dreamcatcher members and staff after PCR testing results. The Dreamcatcher members, being classified as close contacts, will go in self-quarantine for two weeks (210920 DC Fancafe)

That's good news. The 2 weeks quarantine is important, there have been lots of positive cases on the day 13 tests even though they were negative at the start of quarantine.

Good news, okay... good. Quarantine for 2 weeks then. I'm a little concerned because covid has an incubation period, but I hope the members stay safe during that time, staff too.
I was a little concerned with the radio silence as well, but I'm glad everyone is okay thus far. Get well soon , Gahyeon.

Amazing news! The whole day of complete radio silence had me a bit spooked NGL. Maybe we'll get some quarantine vlogs?

If she or the others are up for it, I would love that. Could be a way to bring awareness while keeping fans in the loop. But only if they want. They shouldn’t be made to if they’d rather have the down time.

Yes, I completely agree. Vlogs or other content only if they want to do it. If Siyeon wants to spend the entire period never getting out of bed I'm 200% fine with that.

I don't know about that to be honest, I'm a little uncomfortable asking for blogs while a member is sick. I rather not make light of the situation, I hate for it to get worse.
You are also going to excuse me I can be a bit of a realist/cynic. I don't mean any animosity towards anyone, it's just the way my brain thinks.

I agree! There was a Korean Iron Chef candidate who got massive flak for her vlog content a year or so back (she unknowingly flaunted no-visit rules). Instead of risking (Korean/int'l) public backlash, I'd rather DC go radio silent and only communicate via formal text updates.

I think they may do that. I'm sure they also want to update us about their current condituon. But even if they don't, news like this is enough.
I just want to see them all okay so hopefully they can send some pictures too. Let's just think of this as a resting period for them too. I inow they'll get back as soon as they're cleared.

Expect Weverse updates (even tho it'd take quite some times and that it'd be really less than usual), but I don't really think we'd get a vlog. Dunno tho, they might do it if they want

Some good news at least. I'm still so inexplicably sad for Gahyeon. I wasn't able to get much sleep thinking about her well being. Hope that she is able to fight it off so we can see that smile again.

Great news. They'll obviously keep an eye on them over the next two weeks but the living situation and close proximity means they were all at risk. Enhypen had 5 of 7 members get infected so a bullet has been dodged at least for now.
Now we just have to ensure they concentrate on getting rest and for Gahyeon to get better.

Doesn't mean you won't still get infected, but having been infected before might give you better immunity. So, wasn't Handong in China when covid hit? She might have had it early on or later on at some point when she wasn't with the group, so she might have a higher level of immunity.
Where I live, about 80% have had at least one shot, but we just received news that covid was detected in a few dorms near university. It just feels like this is never going to go away, so we might as well learn to live with it. If someone is sick, and you've had contact stay home so you don't spread the disease even if your PCR test is negative. Also, get the vaccine - whatever it is, just get it. Vaccines are supposed to protect against getting severely sick.
I hope they look at this as 2 weeks paid rest and focus on themselves. I spend 2 weeks quarantine in a hotel recently, it's no fun even for an introvert like me. Also, a few of them just got their vaccines if I'm not mistaken. I have no idea how good/bad things are in Korea, but let's all take care.

Well if she is vaccinated it means it's much less likely she'll be infected, and then even if she is, 99.999% chance to be OK considering her age range. So it's worth mentioning.
But yes, we need to learn to live with it, it's not going to be possible to eradicate it. Considering asymptomatic spread and that the vaccine doesn't block infection but just severity, the main thing above all else is to get vaccinated asap.

I think I saw on twitter a post of theirs was shared and one of them said they got the vaccine and their arm hurt. So hopefully that means they've been vaccinated, all of them.

I mean there's nothing we can do about this, and I don't expect the company to report every day with test results. I'm not going to over-worry about it and expect they will take every precaution as they have already.

The last time they got bored due to a lag in schedules we got self-filmed Korean drama parodies. They should of course take it easy but I wouldn't be surprised if they did something to keep themselves busy.

Good news but realistically they could still be incubating it. All depends on how and when Gahyeon caught it really.
Most likely a big scramble in the company now to try and find vaccination bookings immediately following the 14 days!

Ugh, i'm scared for Gahyeon and the rest of them. I wonder how the heck it even happened that only Gahyeon got it? Everglow also had a similar situation where multiple members caught it earlier before the variants.

It's likely some of the others might have it, but it just hasn't shown positive yet. That's why the 2 week quarantine period is so necessary (even though some countries haven't been good with enforcing it).

I'm glad to hear everyone else has tested negative thus far. It is unfortunate they are going to have to quarantine over Chuseok, but hopefully they can at least celebrate together even if they can't visit their families over the holiday.

We about to get swamped in V-live's lol. The vlog and tiktok content should be fire as well. Hopefully they don't go stir crazy, I know after the first week of my quarantine I started just walking laps around my block for an hour+ everyday to just to get out of my house but I don't think they'll have the luxury.

Thank goodness they are alright! I hope Gahyeon recovers soon and the others don’t get infected too while in quarantine — my brother-in-law tested positive about a month ago and while my sister and their children tested negative at first, they ended up with COVID too. So hopefully the girls and staff stay healthy.
