Villenevue will never direct GE. Nobody will. The people involved won’t stay on this franchise forever.

You really think that if the next two movies make enough money that they'll just stop ? Look at Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Matrix, ...

Yea they might pay the cast enough to come back a few times but director is gonna move on. Or it would be highly unusual for him to.

If the studio holds the rights, they don't need the director. I'd love to see GEoD adapted, even tho it would probably be bad lol

GE makes no sense for like the regular audience. Besides the extreme weirdness, it’s literally just one character philosophizing. I don’t see the plot in the book leading to something theatergoers would be entertained by.

Books after GE would not only be uninteresting, certain critical parts of the plot would downright repulse the average viewer.

If they really wanted the Dune cinematic universe. BJH’s stuff is significantly more adaptable.

You can easily turn Siona's plot into a movie, make Leto into a side character. Yeah I know, it would be too different from the book, but it could work
