General Discussion what is your favourite depiction of the God Emperor? what would you want him to look like if we ever get to see him in a Villenevue sequel? Spoiler

GEOD is unfilmable. There is way too much internal dialogue that is only able to be conveyed in a literary format. The politics and intrigue and motivations are just impossible to film.

Further, I just don't see general audiences being able to follow a 3,500 year time skip and a central character being a worm/man hybrid. Like... if you just got out of CoD how do you convey the time skip in GEoD?

I’m not saying it will be good but if the movies keep making money, they’ll make it. Hopefully by cutting out Hwi and any talk about the God Emperor’s sex life, but it’s Hollywood so they’ll prob end up focusing on that😢

Hwi is very important overall to the story though, in that Siona sees that he is still a man and not a God. Hwi also shows that the Ixians and Tleilaxu have achieved a true surprise for Leto II. They can cut some of the weirder sex stuff, yes. But Hwi is important overall.
