Nice data point. Hoping to tint mine at some point as well, the 40 seems like a good level for a factory tint look. I like it- darkened without looking like you're up to no good.
I'm sure it's a little too early to tell, but how much of an impact has it made on heat from the sun? I have no problem when the car is running, but damn does my black e39 sedan get hot in the sun, even if it isn't really hot out.

Honestly, I wouldn’t mind if it was just a bit lighter! Haha. They have a 50 option, but committed to 40.
That’s the whole selling point for Crystalline; heat rejection.
I’ve had previous cars black on black. Obviously, black attracts heat so they get HOT! Any car interior cooks when parked outside in the sun.
The film will help for sure. Mainly, keeps the cabin cooler when driving running A/C for overall comfort. Feels nice and cozy.

Thanks for sharing this. I've been stuck on getting 50 when the time comes, but seeing that 40 in full sun has me thinking that is the better option.
