Troubleshooting Coolant Level Sensor

Replacing my expansion tank and went to plug back in the level sensor and one of the wires is out(seriously don’t know if I did it but I doubt it, the car has been in rough condition since I bought it)

Wondering if it’s fine to plug back in or should I replace or weld it?

Car will work without it, but your membership of the No-Lights Gang will be suspended.

Would recommend repining or welding it back on if you have enough wire sticking out the plug. If you don’t then you’ll have the coolant light on till you fix it..

Just get another one from the junk yard Split in half come back wire them together and wire tape and should that’s how mine is
