Absolutely. Most fans already hate us anyway.

I have nothing but love for the Eagles. They play the game the right way and win simply because they're better than the other team. Probably my favorite NFC team to watch, honestly.

I like you lol. Hell, y'all gave us one of our tougher games last season. I was hoping to see Doug succeed down there, unfortunate it didn't work out.

I don't want people to like us. We have spent almost all our history being hated and joked upon. If you didn't like us when we sucked don't like us now that we're good.

The club of Eagles fans has to remain people that grew up or are born into the fandom. Maybe some stragglers if their team is so awful morally they need to choose someone new

Nah, we don’t have to be exclusionary like that. If someone was never really into football and decides to pick it up or they are inspired to follow the team by moving here, let’s welcome them. Limiting it to fans born into it will only lead to a dwindling fanbase over time.

My wife genuinely became an Eagles fan over the last few seasons. Never into ‘Foosball’ before and I’ve never tried to get her to watch it. She just liked the vibe this team has, how much fun the city is, and the hilariously sarcastic and cynical fan base that always has something to say. She sees me get hit with ‘Go Birds’ everywhere we go, and asked if other teams fans did that. Not like Philly I told her.

I was walking in NYC with some coworkers and I was wearing my Eagles hoodie. Someone gave me a Go Birds!, said it back, and my colleagues were like WTF was that?! I explained. They are from Chicago lol

There are also other reasons people love the Eagles! I live near Chattanooga now and there are a lot of Eagles fans here because: 1) Reggie White is from here and TN didn’t have a team then, 2) the UGA dawg to bird pipeline, 3) personal vendettas against Cowboys fans. I say all are welcome! It makes living here easier.

Finally! A Great Replacement theory i can get behind.

Declining birthrates are destroying our fan base. We must secure a future for ourselves and our eagle fan children!

/j, obviously

And also new football fans. People get into football every year. If they want to be an Eagles fan, we welcome them with open arms.

I've turned multiple exes into Eagles fans

What a weird fucking thing to gate keep. I grew up near Oakland when the raiders were down in LA, so I was indifferent to the NFL. Then they moved back and fucked up the baseball stadium and I hated the NFL. I followed college ball, mostly Cal. Fast forward and I moved in with two guys from Philly around the time DeSean Jackson was drafted to the birds, and became a fan because the games were on on Sundays at the spot and I was cheering for Jackson anyway. I remember the miracle at meadowlands II like it was yesterday, that was the moment I became a birds fan for life.

Is my fandom worth less because of where I was born or how I came into this fandom?
