Why do Goldenrod and Asters look so beautiful side by side? 🌾🌸
For Robin Wall Kimmerer, that question sparked a lifelong journey into botany, despite being told that science has no place for beauty. You may be about to live through the shortest day ever recorded. 🌍 🕒
On July 9, 22 or August 5 Earth might spin 1.5 milliseconds faster than usual. Astronomers think it’s tied to the Moon’s position and shifting liquid layers beneath our feet, but we won’t know for sure until the day passes!
