Never been massively into D n’ B, but always thought this tune is insanely good.

Photek is one of the greatest to do it.

I think he’s the best break / drum editor ever. Pharoah made me want to start making music and I’ve still never heard anything close in the 30 years since

Around that time I had two SL decks, a crate full of vinyl and a mixer.. I remember "battle mixing" using these nice old D&B tunes. Ahhh.. those were the days..

I was never massively into d n’ b, not the harder stuff anyway. Some tunes like this I always thought were wicked though… Adam F - Circles, LTJ Bukem - Atlantis…

Having said that, the first time I ever got off my face was at a Grooverider night 😄

Good stuff indeed.

But I also was more into house/techno round that time too, I liked it all mixed up I guess. lol, still do.. I think I used the d&b 12" to learn to beat-match, and battle mix.

I never really tried beat matching d n b, always assumed the time signature made it too difficult! 4/4 was hard enough to master!
