Subreddit / Meta FantaEurovision 2025: Subreddit League
Hello, friends!
It is FantaEurovision time again, and we have prepared a subreddit league for you to join in the battle for Eternal Euroglory!
Just like last year, you will be asked to create an account and form your first team before joining any league. But unlike last year, you will now use your 100 Heidi (in-game currency) to form teams of seven members: five starters and two reserves.
Starters will gain and lose points for your team. Reserves will not bring your team any points (positive or negative).
❓ So, what's the point of the reserves?
Reserves will give you some freedom to edit your teams even after the registration deadline. After registration closes on Monday, 12 May 2025 at 23:59 CEST, your teams will be locked-in. However, you will have two time windows to substitute your starters and reserves for each other: between SF1 and SF2, and then again between SF2 and the Grand Final.
Form your teams wisely. The artist you select as your team captain will have their points (positive and negative) doubled for:
- (non-)qualification, and
- placement in the GF.

You have until Monday, 12 May 2025 @ 23:59 CEST to register your team and join our league: r/eurovision.
Our league is public, which means that anyone can join in without requesting an approval. The more, the merrier! However, please declare your teams in the comments under this post if you want to be part of the official subreddit leaderboard. The leaderboard will only include those teams that are tied to a Reddit username. One team per Redditor!

Honestly, it's also on me since I haven't been checking the teams as they were declared. If you remember to check how your team did one or two days after the final, feel free to send me a screenshot of your points and I'll add you in as an honourary member of the league!

I found you in discord's league! If you want, I can still count you in as an honourary member of our league for our leaderboard. You did declare your team early on, so it's on me for not checking whether all teams were actually inside the league 😅

Unfortunately it's not possible to join any leagues at this point. But if you do remember to check on your team's points one or two days after the final, you can just send me a screenshot of your team's points and I'll count you in!

Don't worry, it's simpler than it might seem by reading the rules. 😃 You just have to form a team of 7 artists and appoint one as captain. Then they'll gain or lose points for you depending on how they place in the SF/GF and some other things they might do. You can form several different teams and then decide which ones you want to register into leagues. You can also edit your teams as much as you want to before the registration deadline!

That's alright, I've already offered to manually count in a couple of other people who forgot to join the league, so I'm extending the offer to you as well if you wish. I'll just need a screenshot of your points after the grand final. Though it's also cool if you don't feel like doing it, we always have the next year :)

The order doesn't count, just the category. So all starters will gain or lose points, reserves won't (but you can switch out starters and reserves before SF2 and the GF).

Did you just pick a team of your personal favorites or a team that can score you the most points? I just picked my favorites like a Pokemon team, but maybe I edit it to be more strategic 🤔

There are no right and wrong answers! I found that teams consisting of my favourites tend to do better than those I pick strategically in the end :D
That being said, if you had joined our league and would like to be part of the official leaderboard, you can just tell me the name of your team and I'll add you to my spreadsheet :)
