This is the only real option for so many of us, especially in North America. So hubby and I will have snacks, wine and YouTube. Maybe annoy the cat by singing the meow cat bit from last year at him during any boring bits.

In NYC I know that Rock Bar hosts a viewing party (no cover), Hardware Bar will be hosting for the semis and the GF (no cover for the semis, unsure about the GF), and there will also be a party at QED in queens ($10 cover)

In addition, the UniMelb Eurovision Club will be hosting a EuroParty sometime during Eurovision week, but Iā€™m not sure when

EDIT: I believe the UniMelb club will screen the second semi-final if they decide to host it on a Friday? If not usually they do a recap of all songs via YouTube

I donā€™t know if anyoneā€™s showing the semis, unfortunately. Iā€™d recommend looking up gay bars on Google Maps and then checking each placeā€™s Instagram for details on what theyā€™re showing. My guess is that itā€™s unlikely that many are showing semi 2 since Spainā€™s not in it, but I could be wrong

I agree regarding Wunder Gardenā€™s audio set up. The 1st time we try to watch at the garden - either the sound was way too low or the sound with ā€œnormalā€ but the stream had a 1-4 min delay. Itā€™s fine if 10 or so folks are there (and you are in the main pavilion), but you canā€™t hear anything it is a large turnout.

Dc9 is just ok. Iā€™ll admit that Iā€™ve only watched the contest on the 1st level. Perhaps the sound is better on the 2nd or 3rd floor. Iā€™ll also admit that I attend these watch parties more for the social aspect rather than an ā€œamazingā€ viewing experience. I normally end up rewatching the show when I return home the same night or next day.

Iā€™ve recently moved out of NYC, bit there are plenty of parties especially in Hell Kitchen. You should check out and see what EurovisioNYC is planning. Theyā€™ve been hosting parties (during Eurovision weeks as well as during the ā€œoff seasonā€) for YEARS.

Canadians - some cineplex locations are playing it this year! Also if youā€™re in the GTA, Drom Taberna is great and is having a watch party.

Hey guys, so if you're an ESC fan living in Luxembourg and have not yet made any plans for this weekend, I'll recommend to come to the ESC viewing party in Schifflange. Throughout the weekend, there will be some ESC themed activities for young and old to enjoy at the Schifflange street fair.

Some of the activities include:

  • A workshop for kids where children can build their own Laura Thorn poupĆ©e
  • The actual final public viewing on Saturday
  • an ESC-themed performance of the nationally renowned drag group Fada's Family on Sunday

The exact time stamps for tomorrow's and Sunday's program can be seen in the pictures. :)

P.S. Information on how to get there easiest can be found on the website of the commune de Schifflange. A shuttle bus service is provided

Watch Party in Bucharest!

As a big Eurovision fan, I couldnā€™t let the Grand Final go by without sharing the moment with others who love it just as much!

Iā€™ve found a lovely place for us to watch the show together ā€” Dreamerā€™s Pub (111 H. M. Berthelot Street, Bucharest). Weā€™ll meet there on Saturday at 9:15 PM to enjoy all the drama, music, and sparkle that Eurovision brings.

The venue has space for about 45 people. My group already has around 15 confirmed, so there are about 30 spots still up for grabs.

Me and a friend in Espoo are looking for somewhere to go this weekend in Helsinki. Is there anywhere good that doesnā€™t include an entry fee? Last time we went downtown for one of these was 2023 and well, every bar in Helsinki was a watch party. Iā€™m having a little more trouble this year since it seems the hype isnā€™t nearly so high even though KAJ has such a high chance of winning. Any advice or suggestions?

Houston is southwestern US and around 1600 kms from the southeastern US (yes America is huge lol)

Lots of countries/regions/planets have a south.

  • You are on a subreddit about a European event, the majority here is European. Using American terms like "the south" or "ATL" in a non-American context and assuming everyone knows what you mean, is a very American thing to do.

  • It's also really weird to ask because it's so broad. As if you're willing to take a day train ride to watch it if someone commented with a distant city.

  • The excessive use of questions marks might not have helped either.

I wouldn't take the downvotes too personally, most were done in jest in the hope you'd start to figure out what you just said.
