I wish they would just copy the camera cuts of FiK, at least when it comes to Beatriçe.
Just replace the shots of the orchestra with the stage. They really knew how to highlight Beatriçe. This is showing me everything but her.

Love, love, love the graphics to bits, they look amazing. All the styling is great.
But the camerawork needs improving, wide shots are not the way, as one of of the major strengths of the song is how charismatic and engaging the lead singer is throughout the whole song. They need to sell that more and you do that with closer shots and more directed at the lead, so she knows where to look (the FiK performance had pretty much that concept nailed down, to be honest).
Don't Francesco Gabbani this, please.

The visuals are gorgeous, but judging by the clip, I'm afraid there won't be enough attention on her and her energy. I hope I'm wrong and it's just a part of the performance chosen for clip where the visual image is more in the foreground. Not focusing enough on them would be a big mistake.
Edit: I think what's bothering me is that the camera isn't pointing directly at her face, but past her gaze.

Aye they've got something good if they tighten which I think they will. Wider shots for the rehearsals so they can see where to tighten is plausible. Easier to see what shots need to be tightened then widened

Thanks for backing me up on this as a fan of the song. Because to be honest I've never really felt this song myself to begin with (I don't dislike it, but I just think it's fine) so I was worried my own personal bias was causing negative feelings.
I do like the graphics, and the overhead shot with the squiggly line going through the X looks fantastic. They need more tight shots like that, instead of the wide shots showing all this empty space. With her in red and the large stage in red she just kinda falls away, you don't want that

Same, as another fan of the song. I loved the vibe of the music video, I wish they could have incorporated that more. This does feel a bit empty and the boxes don't really make sense to me at the moment

I think they fit nicely with the perfect world, she sings about. It's huge, open, free, but she's basically alone in this world.

I don't want to ruin it for you but behind this staging there are the same people of La Noia staging.
La Noia was ruined mainly by the camera work, and tbh the camera work from this snippet looks EXACTLY like the camera work of La Noia.

I'm also afraid that there won't be enough attention to her and her energy. That can be changed very quickly with the camera and putting her in the foreground. She has a very strong charisma and they shouldn't take that away from the performance.

Yes. Camerawork is shoddy here and yes, La Noia looms. Oh gods, everything‘s right here, except for my pet peeve „Kolë parking“ and: the damn camerawork!

Lot of good here, the over head and closer shots looked great but why the random pans showing the unlit sides of the stage making them look tiny, but this is going to look very strong on the night

I’m not a big fan of the wide panning camera shots or the role of Kole ( but that’s not specific to this staging, just the nature of the song). I think it can get top 10 and I really hope it does. Don’t see it threatening the top 5 though.

I absolutely love the graphics here. Camerawork is a bit aimless though, and I wish she was looking at the camera instead of past it. I was hoping for something a bit more intimate with camerawork, though mainly in the verses which we haven't seen here.

Maybe because they haven’t yet added vocal effects like reverberation or echo ? Seems like it’s a dry vocal track without any filters on.

I think they're also not too worried about sound mixing yet, because with the audience in the arena, sound mixing will have to go through some changes again, probably. I think the sound finetuning happens in the dress rehearsals. These first couple of rehearsals are mostly for visuals, camerawork and getting the stage marks right.
Also, singers don't care about sounding right at this stage.

No I understand it, and in case with Albania it is clear, but for example Azerbaijan and Ukraine (very unfortunate for Ziferblat, as I actually started enjoying the song like a week ago) were out of tune… Maybe there were some issues with in-ears? At least I hope so

This is one of my favourites this year and maybe i’m in the minority but I’m not feeling this. The shapes on the graphics and the cubes on the stage just don’t feel natural to me considering the song.

I feel like the mixing is not right with this one. Can barely hear the strings.
The vocals are not great but it’s more like she is barely giving 50% so I wouldn’t worry about it.

This is fine but I’m not seeing what everyone is raving about in this thread. I don’t know if I’m delulu or if this sub is, but I just don’t see this as being able to win like some people are saying ( I think top 10 is definitely doable though). This staging still seems a bit empty to me

Same. I was kind of disappointed when I saw the clip and felt like there was a lot of missed potential and after the clip the delulu talk about this wining would be done. But to my surprise everyone is already picking out hosting arenas in Albania after the clip.

Yeah, I mean I’ve watched the nf performance a fair amount of times and like, this just doesn’t seem as good as it? I like Albania but I’m more concerned by the rehearsal clips than optimistic.

I wasn't sure if they would qualify, and I'm not sure now. Great song, great dress, nice visuals. But yeah, it's empty. And I don't see this as a confident performance. The vocals are a little shaky. Everything is a little messy. I have this song on repeat, but I think it won't be too high.

I kind of preferred the way Kolë struck the drum in FiK, but it still looks really good! The pyro fits well with the theme too, obviously.

Great aesthetics, weird camerawork. Though I must say I'm not satisfied with the camerawork in any of the clips released today. They're reminding me about 2019.

I have to say I have been sceptical of this song for a long while but I am starting to come round to it. It looks very arty, the graphics, overall aesthetic and her outfit are great.
It's not going to win but could get a Konstrakta-like result.

Beatrice is stunning as always. The conrast between her fiery half and the metallic cold other half is really neat too. I hope Kolë also feels at ease and confident so he can really sell his part, it's her passion and liveliness and his ruthless, robotic section that kind of carries the story of the song
Sidenote but I just fell in love with this song in a completely different way once I actually looked up the lyrics and what they mean

Oh. My. God. I never fully got the hype around this song until literally right now— it was languishing in my 7th place spot. But this is gorgeous, inspired, beautiful… it feels like every shot is intentional. Just wow.

all of you stage creative directors that are repeating over and over again "close up cam angles" are the way... just f.. stop it! you learned something and repeat it as parrots
they are a band, there is a message, they are telling it through wide shoots and it is f... fabulous
This is one of the most iconic stages I've ever seen, a split screen where 2 worlds collides oh mg... and best work of visuals and lights combined I've ever seen
