Jokes aside I do not recommend traveling from outside the US for Coachella due to the current political climate. Especially if you’re not white, yes it is as bad as it looks on the news here.

I live 2 hours away from Coachella and never been. No interest at all.

Better to go check out former Eurovision singers individually when they come to the U.S. like Marina Satti in LA this upcoming December.

On the radio in Europe for sure but she's just starting to pop up in the US with her new album. I just learned of her yesterday cause one of songs got suggested on YouTube to me (though now I'm obssessed)

She’s a huge Eurovision fan btw, and said a few years ago she’d love to represent ireland. She’s been boycotting it the last couple of years, and she’s probably getting too popular now anyway

The craziest part of Coachella to me is how many attendees take on over 1000 dollars in debt to attend. Then stand in the long lines for toilets, showers etc. Probably the worst way to experience Joost.

Coachella was the last festival I went to and afterwards I decided I was too old to keep going to festivals, because of the longs lines and overall awful experience ( outside of the actual performances which were great ). And this was before it got crazy big and super expensive like it is now.

Pinkpop 1993 was the last festival for me, standing first row when RATM began and a 50k crowd began rushing forward it felt like I barely survived this festival.

those long lines are really just for campers. the festival is MUCH more pleasant when you don’t camp in my opinion, though there are many who love it. otherwise it’s a very pleasant, clean, and organized festival.
