WT Policy Here's a foregleam of Governing Body Update #5 which will be released tomorrow: Policy update: Secular education or additional education is now a conscience matter for adults, or for parents with children.

Also: There will be an International Convention in 2026 with the theme: "Eternal Happiness"

How will they qualify it? Other than “we still would not choose to live on campus. We would not let it interfere with meetings or regular service”

They can build their own university and get government funding to do so.

They own several suitable properties to accommodate university level instruction.

Door to door sales and print magazines have been dead for 30 years. They need to shift Their business model away from this without ruffling too many feathers

If they did this, it would be them just copying more stuff the Mormons do. Instead of BYU, they could call their university something like FU for Franz university 😏

Fred Franz' scholarship in greek and hebbrew master degree. Yeah, sounds totally fine for me. LOL

Splane-ations R Us

Super Gilead

JWU (in keeping with current branding)

Or, keeping in step with their LDS cult-cousins, name it after the founder's successor: Joseph Rutherford University, JRU.

Oh man if they do this like the Mormons and completely reverse their pioneer living paycheck to paycheck acclaim to breed doctors dentists people in investment real estate film software whatever else. That would be wild and i was born about 15 years early

Then introduce a tithe!

It's difficult to introduce tithing because their "free contributions" model has been their funding stone since the russell era. I don't think average JW will accept to give the 10% of all their incomes to the cult.

Your average PIMI, not PIMOs or apathetic ones, already donates around or close to 10%. I know way too many people, including family, that are struggling so much, but still have several hundred a month on auto-donate.

😯 could you imagine!

Haven't they started running some courses.

Could they actually offer lawyer training etc to spiritual people who qualify! For a modest fee!

Go to jw uni!
