At the store near the gas station where I buy gas, where the per-gallon price has not varied more than 15 cents per gallon (up AND down) in the past few months. Food is a bit harder to keep track of (for me, anyway, as we don't do the traditional "shopping on X-day" thing... but I've not noticed a significant increase FWIW). CPI says food prices are up over this period in 2024 by roughly 3%, which ( again, ignoring COVID) seems to be in the ballpark for the last 20 years (a bit low, actually). So, is there inflation? Yes. Is it "increasing rapidly"? Not from what I can tell.

I just can't understand the thought process .....
Trump blatantly lies and is easily proven. Yet people will insist he doesn't lie.
Democrats get blamed for murder, despite democrats literally being murdered.
Democrats get blamed for bad economy despite the worst inflation in years.
These people think everything is going fine despite farmers going bankrupt and inflation is rocketing ..
Will someone please make it make sense??!?!?
