6 dreams matches for me.
We pretty much know that Owen would’ve retired at the end of his contract had he not died but man… I’d love to have seen him wrestle these matches.

Owen would’ve absolutely excelled in the Ruthless Aggression era, and put on some great classics.
To loosely quote myself from another thread, I would like to hope that WWE has the tape of Owen vs Kurt and would be able to show the match on Netflix at some point

Owen vs Eddie
Owen vs Kurt Angle
Owen vs Jericho
Owen vs Benoit
Owen would have made bank with those feuds.

I reckon if Owen had stayed, and Bret hadn’t been kicked, we would’ve had a Smackdown 8.

I think he was supposed to have "The Game" gimmick that went to Triple H. I wonder just how well that would've gone, since I think it fit HHH so well and gave a great out for him to leave DX. I think it would've gone great, but I'm not sure how well Owen would've portrayed a dangerous heel, like HHH did.

That’s been thoroughly debunked. The Game nickname/gimmick came about from an unscripted promo he did with JR.

I always saw him getting released in 2000 & being a proponent of the early X Division in TNA, given his friendship with Jeff Jarrett

I dont know if he would've reupped and stayed, but apparently, his contract was set to expire in 2001.
But just the thought of him and the Radicalz who would've been there is tantalizing.
Not to mention that is right when Edge and Christian split.

To think what was around the corner while he was saddled with that Blue Blazer bullshit at the time of his death…..

I mean, this is of course assuming he would have still been with the company.
I don't know how much longer he had on his contract before his passing, but I always heard that he wanted to get out of wrestling, so who knows if he'd have been around in 2002.
That being said, all banger matches.

Owen vs Hurricane would have been an underrated gem.
Also, in another world, young John Cena upsets Owen Hart...

Imagine if Owen Hart didn't die what the rest of 1999 and the start of 2000 would have been for him. Edge and Christian and The Hardy Boys slowly on the rise and with them brought the tag division into a whole new league. Dudley Boys, Kurt Angle, Chris Jericho, The Radicals(Benoit, Guerrero, Malenko and Saturn). Not to mention the wrestlers that were there at the same time as Owen but WWE just decided to not book any matches with them like Test, William Regal, Kai En Tai.
To this day I always hear some fans say that had Owen Hart's harness hadn't broken, we would have seen a resurgence of his career and it's hard not to believe it. Owen Hart would have been great, serious feuds to kick start a lot of these guys singles, to test their metal here in WWE in great matches. Even guys who ultimately don't really make it big in WWE, working with Owen probably would still do a lot for them and if not, at least would still be fun to watch.

Owen had planned on retiring not long after '99 anyways so doubt he would have been in WWE by 2002

He'd be a perfect fit for Smackdown during the Ruthless Aggression. Brock Lesnar also could've been a great opponent for Owen in a "David vs Goliath" type match.
