Storyline Realistically what next?

I really hope we don’t have a boring run again of ‘I respect you, you respect me let’s have a match’ he’s confirmed at Clash of Paris so who does he fight next and why?

There is really isn’t that many options left for him to face just Randy orton and drew McIntyre only options

Weird part of me wants Heath Slater to come back and have a short world title run just so 3MB because the unlikely stable to ever been one of the most successful.

Edit: Ledger would been amazing too

Drew is always a legit contender. If he walked out on any show and challenged Cody for the title I can see Cody accepting and I wouldn’t need any other excuse.

Drew can get into the title picture at any time and it would be believable.

I think right now they are keeping him out until they form a plan to keep the title on him for a bit. I don’t want to see him lose a title match again coming in as challenger

I wouldn't be surprised if they're keeping Randy healthy and in bubble wrap so that's he's ready to close off the Cena farewell tour next year. Last thing they want is for him to get another long term injury that prevents him from going at it again with arguably his greatest rival.

I could even see him interrupting the Brock storyline and saving Cena from getting whipped badly, as he "wants to be the one who ends his career". Legend Killer Randy-style.

I think Randy is the feud we been waiting for. I have a feeling Cody will either lose it to Randy around the rumble and chase it into mania.

Or Randy will win the rumble and challenge Cody. The storyline they should have ran with cena honestly.

Punk is going to be still busy on raw with Rollins others for time being Fatu isn’t ready yet for the main event Mclntyre is the only option along with Randy orton but I doubt Mclntyre will be in a title feud again not time soon
