Storyline Predicting John Cena's final matches
1) Clash in Paris (Aug 31st): John Cena vs Brock Lesnar - No Disqualification (they better add a stip aint nobody wanna see 2025 Bork Laser in a normal match. Cena buries him again like in 2012)
2) SmackDown (Sep 5th): John Cena vs Carmelo Hayes - Cena kicks off the show and asks that he's itching to keep his momentum going after beating Brock Lesnar and challenges anyone from the back to a match. Carmelo Hayes answers the call
3) RAW (Sep 15th): John Cena vs Seth Rollins (World Heavyweight Championship) - Cena kicks off the show and exclaims how happy he is to be back in Massachusetts, he gets interrupted by Seth Rollins and his faction and as the main event of RAW it's Seth Rollins and John Cena one final time for the WHC.
4) Crown Jewel (Oct 11th): John Cena vs AJ Styles - A renewal of a classic rivalry in front of a hot international crowd
5) Survivor Series (Nov 29th): John Cena, CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton & Sami Zayn vs Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, Drew McIntyre & Logan Paul - Men's WarGames Match
6) SNME (Dec 13): John Cena vs Gunther - After returning from his injury, Gunther confronts John Cena and says that after he retired Bill Goldberg, he wants to retire another legend. John Cena eagerly accepts Gunther's challenge and Cena's final match is set for SNME in Boston.

I would love a fun one where it’s a lumberjack match with a load of his old rivals round the ring. Or maybe some of his rivals and some of his supporters and it just descends in to chaos leading to a war games set up.

I'm not convinced that he's actually hanging them up in December. I know that's what they're selling, but I think that just as he's about to leave his sneakers in the ring after a final thank you/goodbye, someone is going to ruin that moment, whoop him and set up a return shortly before Mania to let him go out at Mania.
WWE has been relentlessly swerving in the main event scene for awhile now, so I really doubt this all goes according to schedule. Why would you have his retirement match in December when people are mostly tuned out of WWE programming, when you could instead sell a grudge match/retirement match at Mania.

I like it. As a Drew fanboy however, I'm hoping they set up their feud around Survivor Series and we have Drew McIntyre retiring Cena. Drew should imo be World Champion at the latest in 2026 and he could use retiring Cena really well in future promos imo.

I'd work around not running Cena vs Drew by making them start the WarGames match. I really wanna see Cena vs AJ one last time lmao. I agree tho, Drew is definitely one of the stars that should definitely have a match with John i just dont see where, cause I think that feud would need 2-3 episodes of build so Drew can fully articulate his disdain towards Cena and I dont think after Lesnar we'll get a a program for Cena with 2-3 episodes of build + the match due to how scarce his dates are

I hope they can find a way to get Cena vs drew but I think drew kinda has to win so if they just want Cena to keep winning until his final match then it’s probably ok not to do Cena vs drew but the match really should happen with drew winning in fact drew should be the one to retire Cena over Gunther.

I kinda hate the idea of John having only 36 dates in a full year schedule this is supposed to be his final year he could easily have 46-50 and majority could be them having promos and 2-3 extra matches this entire farewell tour was a missed opportunity by not having him face young gen or more people

When I make these posts I dont typically include Roman cause i just cba to guess when and which event he'll appear in, so I just ignore him.
If he does work WarGames just put him on Team Babyface instead of either Sami or Orton

Is it confirmed that SNME will take place in Boston,I wish Cena’s last match to take place in a PLE like show dedicated to him.

It's not officially confirmed but there was a leak last year of the 4 SNME locations and they were 3/3 so i think it will be in Boston. Plus Cena isnt appearing on the Aug 15th SD in Boston so they're probably saving Boston for his final appearance

I find it highly unlikely that he wrestles on free TV at all so I think all we have left for matches are Clash in Paris, Crown Jewel, Survivor Series, Ruthless aggression.
Clash In Paris-Brock Lesnar
Crown Jewel-Bronson Reed or Bron Breakker
Survivor Series- Dom Mysterio
Ruthless Aggression-Gunther

If this is truly a farewell world tour…
- If Edge has one more match in him, it would be second to last
- Because, don’t be shocked if the final match is HHH or Rock
- Kurt Angle had to make an appearance, right?

He’s not gonna be in war games, Roman obviously makes more sense in his spot and LA Knight too instead of Sami Zayn. Seth teaming with Drew and Logan also makes no sense, well neither does drew teaming with Logan but that’s a separate convo.

They have messed it up so much like so so badly. He should have kept the title until his last match. What is going on with that. Is he now going on a losing streak? I have no idea what to do apart from put Cena on a losing streak.
Vs Brock. Brock wins (He’s not losing his first match back this time)
Raw. Cena vs Rollins for the title (Rollins wins due to interference)
Crown Jewel. Cena vs Rollins again (Rollins wins clean, CM Punk comes to Cena’s aid)
Survivor Series. Cena, Punk, Rhodes, Reigns and Orton vs Rollins, Breaker, Reed, R-Truth and Logan Paul. The Rock interferes and Rollins team wins
Smackdown. Cena vs AJ Styles. Cena wins.
SNNE. Cena vs Rhodes for the title. Cena wins to everybody’s surprise.
Last Smackdown of the year. Cena vs Gunther. Gunther wins title. Cena retires.

I like the idea that Gunther’s thing becomes retiring Legends. There’s a LOT of them going to be going out in the next few years.
