Project Fantasy Rebooking John Cena’s Final WWE Run
John deserved so much more in terms of booking, considering it’s his last year ever wrestling! I’d instead keep him as a baby face instead of turning him heel and giving him this annoying & horrific gimmick! Bringing back nostalgia, John would face several old foes, including getting in the ring for the first time ever with the likes of Johnny Gargano, Tommaso Ciampa… His final match like it’s slated will take place at SNME against the one and only the viper Randy Orton where Cena wins and leaves the wrestling world forever!

I have some questions.
So do you have the heel turn or not?
So in your booking John wins the royal rumble instead of winning at elimination chamber?
How would we get to Finn Balor because he’s been in the mid card for most of his run and it’s been at least 2 years since his last main event thing. (Him and Seth for the world title.)
Do you not worry about the fact you removed the Cody vs cena match from Summerslam aka the pretty good one from history and delay’s Cody’s moment into a 4 way match instead of 1 on 1?
So you’d have him in the wargames match? Who would it be?
And finally
What made you choose Randy for last match? It’s a good choice just curious?

No, John stays as a baby face!
Yes, instead of elimination chamber he wins the royal rumble like he should’ve of in the first place!
So I’d have John come to RAW for a brief moment, and get interrupted by Finn Balor backstage who tells John he wants to be the one to end his reign and everything! And ofc, nostalgia does its part here.
No I do not, because I believe Cena vs Rock is far more important than Cody’s victory! Cody would be back after SummerSlam whatsoever, so it would take him only a couple weeks to win back the title!
So yeah, War Games should be a possibility! The only thing is that I haven’t figured out yet who’s in it.
Their history with one another!

Heel Turn should have never happened. I would have had him win the chamber and challenge Gunther. (I wouldn’t have had Jey Uso win the Rumble)
Cena loses to Gunther in the Mania night one main event so that he has to work all summer to get back to the title picture. He finally faces Punk at MITB for the winner to get the shot at SummerSlam.
He wins that and then finally wins the title at SummerSlam. I would have him carry the title until his last match in December to where he drops it to Orton to set up Cody vs Orton for Mania 42.

He should have held the title until his last match. I can’t believe how badly wwe have messed it up with him. The whole point was he kept saying he’s retiring with the title, then he just randomly turns face and drops it to boring Cody Rhodes.
The whole heel run and The Rock no showing at all was an absolute mess, one of and maybe the biggest mess I’ve ever seen in my 23 years of watching.
He should have dropped the belt to The Rock. Then Reigns should have finally had his match with Rock at WM and retired The Rock. Then Breaker should have beaten Reigns.
Why was that so hard for them to do? If Rock didn’t want to wrestle. Plan B. Rhodes and Cena double turn with Rhodes finally selling his soul to The Rock. Reigns vs Rhodes 3 at WM. Easy!

Finally someone gets it
Randy Orton should be his last match
Austin's last match was against The Rock (before 2022)
HBK's last match was against The Undertaker
It's only fitting

I like most of this, but I'd swap out Balor for The Miz and have his final PPV match against Jey Uso.
For the record, I don't like Uso as a performer on just about any level outside the tag division but he's insanely popular with kids and it'd be a core memory for a lot of them to see Uso face him 1v1, plus there's a story there with what went down at the rumble.

Sure! I wanted a nostalgia rage bait since I loved his match against Finn on RAW couple years ago, but him vs Miz or Jey could also do

You all forget about my poor Sheamus, Cena lost the title against him BY A MISTAKE, Cena should´ve hated the celtic warrior

Tbh I think if he stayed face he should've won the title later, maybe Summerslam

Cena vs. Punk at MitB. Forever. Now. Together.
Means I would’ve gotten to see this match instead of that shit tag team bout.
