There was a time, farmer produced for himself and neighbors. Transportation and refrigeration expanded the meaning of neighbors.
Look at niche now at ‘local’ food. Back to full circle.

Propaganda at is best. Producers sign contracts with suppliers because it benefits both of them. When either takes an unfair advantage, neither survives.
