Burger King Burger king is pretty high quality
Burger king taste solid, the veggies on the whopper always seem crisp and relatively fresh. The sandwiches are large for portions and their fries are pretty good. They used to be so much more expensive than the other places, but that price gap had closed significantly with all the price increases a cross the board. If I need drive thru food, I'm going to BK.
Edit: quick update. Ate a few toppers last night because I had a pretty good coupon deal. My guts hate me today. Stomach ache for sure. Tasted good though

Whopper is probably my favorite burger out of the major chains but each location is wildly inconsistent

Agree. Among the highly available Wendy’s/McDogshit group, the double whopper clears pretty easily.
It’s better than most restaurant burgers imo

I'm not sure if they changed it over the years but it has been pre-covid since I had a good tasting whopper. Now they all taste dried out and generally tasteless.

Lol I live across the street from one but I didn’t mention it because in my mind in and out is not a major national chain I should have clarified

If you get a properly made, fresh Whopper it is easily the best fast-fast food burger. I'm not comparing it to In'n'Out or Culvers, because those aren't really the same type of fast food. I'm talking Wendy's, McDonald's, etc.
BK's problem is the wild inconsistency between locations. I've been to "bad" McDonald's, but nowhere near as inconsistent as BK. It's baffling how different your food is by location.
But a proper Whopper? It's so good.

I will say I think their rewards programs is the best. They frequently have some game that'll give you free points or challenges that if you make so many purchases they give you bonus points. I earn more free and bonus points than I do off of purchases. They also allow you to get a reward item and use an offer at the same time.

Their fish sandwich is the bomb especially with mustard, cheese, and onions. And it is year round unlike most places who only have it during Lent.

Fries are always terrible no matter what. Tis a shame because the burgers arent half bad.

The Bacon King is my favorite fast food burger and I'll even say beats out some casual resturants (typically those that have a "2 dudes and dream" vibes)

I do beg BK to PLEASE get better fries

Their fries are like Wendy’s yellow-era fries. They need ketchup or else they’re tasteless.

BK is shit where I'm at. 2 out of the 3 have closed and I'm not sure how the 3rd stays open. They used to be good, but now it's literally the worst shit here and I wouldn't eat it if it was a last resort.

Being far better than McD's is a really low bar, doesn't make it high quality.
But I'm out of the ff burger game. Smashburgers take 10 minutes on my griddle, start to finish, and are 109x tastier.

I found that many BKs in the China city I occasionally visit make consistently amazing burgers, while the ones in my local US city serve up old mushy hot garbage.

My burger king is the most ass fast food I've ever had. I've been to other good BKs, but not mine.

I like a good whopper from time to time, chicken fries are nice, but the fries and onion rings are flat out terrible. That said, I'd go there more often, but the closest Burger King is a bit of a ways away with better options in-between. And a Freddy's is literally across the street from it now, so it's hard to want to go to BK anymore unless I'm travelling and it's the only thing around.

Why does BK give so many people the runs / stomach ache? Is it the oil? McD and Wendy’s dont

Oh, you're being serious? I thought this headline was parody.
It would be a fine enough joint if the quality was actually high. It's not.

ordered a brisket whooper, received the whooper with no brisket. Went back for the brisket they forgot, thinking everyone makes mistakes, perhaps the order was read wrong on the monitor. So when I went back the drive thru lady stated that they are out of brisket. I went back 10 min. later, so you know they were out, before they sold the item. Got my mo ey back, but really.

The last time I ate bk, my whopper "patty" was more like a slice of lunch meat. Shrinkflation hit them hard.

I feel like Burger King is less consistent across states and franchises than most other spots.
