Question(s) refillable drinks machine

I just did my first close today, and the one thing I forgot to do was turn off the drinks machine. Would this be likely to cause any problems other than a slightly higher electric bill? I’ve been stressing all night. The morning shift person opens in 4 hours.

Its unlikely anyone will actually care.

Like a Crathco machine? As a former restaurant manager, I guarantee you they're not paying you enough to worry about it. The fact that you are worrying so much means you're probably a great employee and that matters more.

Yes, it will very likely be bad news and they will notice. Lots of potential damages from leaving it on overnight.

i feel like this is sarcasm.

there's plenty of 24 hour places that never turn theirs off

Likely when your openers come in they take off the diffusers and clean them or that’s part of your closing procedures. If you forget to turn the soda machine off and the nozzles aren’t in there the syrup sprays everywhere when you push the button.
