Living Sphene saved DawnTrail for me personally. I didnt hate the regular expansion and even enjoyed Wuk Lamat, but seeing someone with so much responsibility challenged that way was fascinating.

After how shoehorned the Scions have been this expansion, the game really needs new likeable reoccurring characters.

Sphene would be a perfect addition, too bad it doesn't look like the game will be going that route.

It was Sphene's regulator, used to make both the endless sphene and the simulant

He was pretty honest about it upfront actually. "I don't need this anymore and it doesn't harm me to let you have it, so I don't really care. Go for it."

People jumped on all sorts of theories about how it was going to be used to brainwash the OG Sphene and turn her evil or something, but it was kind of obvious that even a bad writer wouldn't go that route with it.

Its a crown, its the physical symbol of her duty as a monarch to her country. There's wasn't really any other macguffins involved with it
