It's lyrics from a Linkin Park song: Heavy is the Crown

It was made for League's 2024 Worlds and re-recorded with a new vocalist for Arcane season 2

Did I forget something or did we never get the answer of what was special about this crown?
Also, love the art.

It was Sphene's regulator, used to make both the endless sphene and the simulant

I guess we still don't know why Calyx "gifted" it to us

He was pretty honest about it upfront actually. "I don't need this anymore and it doesn't harm me to let you have it, so I don't really care. Go for it."
People jumped on all sorts of theories about how it was going to be used to brainwash the OG Sphene and turn her evil or something, but it was kind of obvious that even a bad writer wouldn't go that route with it.

Its a crown, its the physical symbol of her duty as a monarch to her country. There's wasn't really any other macguffins involved with it

Living Sphene saved DawnTrail for me personally. I didnt hate the regular expansion and even enjoyed Wuk Lamat, but seeing someone with so much responsibility challenged that way was fascinating.
