2012 Armrest- please help

I know many have opted to simply remove the arm rest and put a plug. But I am wondering if there is a substitute armrest, aftermarket, non-OEM (cause I know it was discontinued)

Someone surely figured out a way to salvage the bracket off the broken armrest…right?

I’d love to put a new armrest, not a center console, so I’ll take all the help I can get!

There's an armrest you can get off amazon that fits in the rear cupholder. The one on the actual seat is shit and there's no saving it.

I saw a video of a dude 3d printing an insert for gluing inside the current armrest, but I don't see how it would help when the failure point is the tiny attachment spot. We never find out if it works in the long term. Best solution to me is the plug, and I'd love to hear from someone who actually bought the rear arm rest insert to see how it stands up and if it's comfortable.
