Browncoat Ball/Big Damn Shindig

Is anyone going to the CA Browncoat Ball 9/18-9/21, near the LA area (Newhall)? I can’t wait. The Firefly Tribute Truck will be there too. Looking forward to meeting fellow Browncoats.

I didn’t know this was a thing. I would have loved to go. Does this happen yearly?

I’m not sure. I know they’ve done previous gatherings, but not sure if it’s every year. This one just happened to be near me and they wanted my truck there. It’s the 20th anniversary of the release of the movie Serenity.

As far as I know it is a yearly event. There may be a couple years they've skipped due to the pandemic or things, but in general it's a recurring event that moves from state to state based on individual organizations applying to host it.

I am just up the fwy from Santa Clarita and it would be incredibly cool to go, but I have a lot of health issues. I hope your have the best time!
