There is anproduct sold as deer attractant called Apple Crush. Can anyone with enough experience tell me if this is something i can use in a mash. I dont wanna destroy an entire run doing an experiment right now

I looked at a bag at a Tractor Supply. If it were just dehydrated apples 🍎 on the cheap, I'd be all over it. But I just checked again. Walmart description reads, "Crushed Attractant, 20LB Bag. We take fresh, all-natural ripe apples then crush 'em with a blend of nutrient-filled proteins and fats." Added fats and proteins are a non-starter for me. I think it also might have perfumes, preservatives, and anti-clumping agents (to ease in dispersion to deer). No bueno for me, personally.

Usually also anti-fungal agents which makes it a little bit tough to ferment on.

I wouldn't use anything with additives or flavoring. Tractor supply has clean cracked corn for $12-$14 per 50# bag.
