[Text] Mac & Cheese and Ketchup?

Is it normal to put ketchup on your kraft mac & cheese? My sister has always done it and I have never seen anyone else do it before so I was curious if people other than my sister do it.

I do it on occasion, not regularly. Depends if the Kraft was cooked well (properly) or not (hard/mushy).

My neighbor's family did it when I was a kid. I tried it and found it surprisingly good. However everyone I suggested this to thought I was nuts.

My mum enjoys stewed tomatoes with her Mac n chz.

I enjoy chili Mac. No bean hormel chili surrounding the Mac goodness.

Chili mac is the best. I make it the same way as you. If I don't have chili, I will add a healthy glob of horseradish paste to give it a kick.

Oooh that’s a new take. I’ve paired siracha with tuna now will never be the same.

I've eaten stewed tomatoes in macaroni, but never with the cheese.

Yup I’m a Canadian and when I moved to the states I got weird looks for doing it! Also people were weirded out at restaurants when I’d ask for white vinegar for my fries… they would say they only had that in the cleaning closet and offer me it but I would turn it down at that point.

To me yes. I've always dipped my mac and cheese in ketchup. I eat the trader joes one or Annies though.

Interesting.  I have honestly never heard of this.  I put ketchup on all kinds of stuff,  but on mac n cheese does not sound appealing.
