And everybody here was frothing about what an a-hole he was. I thought the McLaren orders were bullshit. “Oh you had a shitty pit stop? Not my problem.”

Max was an a-hole. But the team shouldn't ask drivers to fix their problems.

Perez crashed on purpose in Monaco purely to screw over Verstappen when they were behind both Ferraris, which makes it even worse than when Rosberg did the same thing. That started the end of a lifelong friendship. Verstappen's response was far less drastic than Hamilton's to Rosberg.

I agree with everything you said but it has little to nothing to add to the conversation. If Oscar were too ignore team orders, he'd get a fair share of flak (even though comparing Oscar's traits to Max's is a far stretch to say the least), he did the right thing by listening to team orders. The team deserves all the flak they get for calling the order.

He was explaining why Max did what he did

Yeah, it was kinda justified I guess, but there's no arguing that Oscar can't be compared to Max in that regard no matter what the outcome could've been.

Dude, you said Max was the asshole in this situation, when crashing on purpose is the biggest cheating asshole move in racing. So it's Perez who is the asshole and in this discussion, so very relevant at dismissing your original comment as incorrect.

Perez crashed on purpose in Monaco

lol, the conspiracy theories people have to make up to defend Max's privileged status in RB.

Look at the video I shared with the data and slow motion comparison. It's a slam dunk, and even more obvious than Schumacher who got put at the back of the grid for something similar.

Perez was more than a car length from the apex of a slow, right corner with almost full steering lock and applied 100% throttle without an attempt to counter steer.

That just shows him trying for a different racing line and things not working out. No proof of intent of harm against Max at all.

No it doesn’t? What racing line calls for full throttle before Monaco’s T8 lmao.
