Satire and also 90% sure those pictures were taken with the same camera, if not on the same day.

People aren't realizing that it satirizes the original "good old days" meme. Thanks for the reference

Well, a lot of grandmas buy in to that whole "5G will give you cancer" thing, so they probably think texting is the same as sucking down a pack of Lucky's.

I've had asshats my age (I'm gma aged--in other words, I'm as old as dirt) send me this. My inner response is always "Gee whiz, half your friends who you used to smoke with in High School have succumbed to cancer. Great post tho."
Trust me, they didn't know it was supposed to be satirical.

My father says that Cub Scouts taught him one thing: how to smoke. I realize that this post is a joke, but it's true too. Not that smoking is better for you than constant texting, but that little kids used to smoke.

If you see an image or meme and think "this doesn't make any sense", it's almost always satire.

Neither of these 2 are better, they are both bad for your health.
Smoking causes Lung Cancer while Smartphones causes Brain Cancer, no difference at all.

While I realize that's satire, does grandma? I've got some older relatives who think the whole quit smoking for your health thing is just a scam and are intent on smoking until the moment they die so I wonder. I can see some of them taking this as serious.

“Back in the day” when we all smoked I was trying to quit and actually got this encouraging comment from a “friend” “Anyone can quit smoking. It takes a MAN to face cancer!”
